Use of FindTranscriptionWork.com is not a guarantee that you will find work - this depends on you and your abilities. Clearly your chances are higher if your mother tongue is English and if you are a good typist, and higher still if you have experience of transcription. If English is not your mother tongue your chances are lower. All home-based jobs require you to have a computer; if you do not have one, your chances of obtaining work are virtually nil. Other than the above, FindTranscriptionWork.com cannot advise as to the likelihood of your finding transcription work, and we request that interested parties do not contact us to discuss this or to advise how they may increase their chances, as we cannot provide individual advice. Solo transcribers and applicants should read our tips page to maximise their chances of gaining employment.

Some job notifications may consist of a link to a transcription job on auction sites that provide full details of the work but require subscription to that site in order to bid for it. FindTranscriptionWork.com cannot subscribe on behalf of its members, because only the subscriber to the site can bid. Subscription to such auction sites is normally at a very low cost.
