Job Description: QA Auditor position for OSi Transcription. To review and score accuracy of medical reports produced by medical transcriptionists and medical editors. Serves as a medical language resource to transcriptionists, co-workers, other healthcare providers, and/or students as required. Through a standard random selection process, select transcribed or edited reports for quality assurance auditing/scoring. Review selected transcribed or edited medical reports to insure accuracy and verify compliance with client specifications. Using standard scoring criteria, calculate and score audits consistently and fairly. Provide informational feedback to transcriptionists to improve individual skills and overall company quality average. Recognize, interpret, and evaluate inconsistencies, discrepancies and inaccuracies in the medical dictation and account specifics and appropriately clarify and/or report them as required. Communicate problems/issues with other departments or contractors to Director, Operations Support. Maintain a professional working relationship with coworkers, other departments, and medical transcriptionists.
